Regional Sales Manager – Northern California
Location: Flexible — can be based in Northern California (Bay Area)
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive Yamaybio’s business growth in assigned regions. This position will focus on expanding our presence among academic institutions, distributors, and biotech companies.
Responsibilities:
Lead regional sales strategy and achieve assigned revenue goals
Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and distributors
Identify and develop new business opportunities
Promote Yamaybio’s Western Blot reagents, consumables, and instruments to customers and partners
Provide product training and support to channel partners
Gather market intelligence and report on competitor activities
Work closely with the marketing and technical support teams to execute regional campaigns
Represent the company at trade shows and scientific conferences
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field
At least 3 years of sales and team management experience in the life science industry
Strong knowledge of Western Blot or related molecular biology products
Proven ability to lead a team and achieve or exceed sales targets
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Willingness to travel within the assigned region (up to 30–40%)

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to promote and sell our life science research products in the San Diego area. The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience and a solid understanding of Western Blot (WB) or related molecular biology techniques.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with customers in the San Diego region, including universities, biotech companies, and research labs
Promote and sell Yamaybio’s products, focusing on Western Blot reagents and related tools
Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with scientists and purchasing teams
Identify new business opportunities and achieve sales targets
Provide customer feedback and market insights to internal teams
Attend regional exhibitions or events as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Biochemistry, or related life sciences
Minimum 1–2 years of sales or business development experience in the biotech/life science field
Hands-on experience or understanding of WB experiments
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
